Margaret is an experienced counsellor, supervisor and retired nurse.

Margaret has broad experience, both as a professional nurse working in the UK and Australia and as a therapist working in Australia. As a Registered Nurse she has worked in emergency departments, intensive care units and the care of patients with burns. Margaret has extensive experience that has deeply informed her professional practise as a therapist in understanding vulnerability and the impact on oneself.

Margaret has worked as an educator in relation to staff development and training nursing students. She has enjoyed working in management as a Nurse Unit Manager and Assistant Director of Nursing.

Margaret practices from the principle of harmony and well-being. What Margaret loves about professional counselling and clinical hypnotherapy is being able to support and help people to manage the difficult times in life, which happen to all of us. Margaret explores with her clients what the problem might be and what could be contributing to it. Together, exploring solutions and possibilities that the client finds best for them to increase an overall quality of life.

Margaret has a Diploma and advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy in addition to obtaining a Post Graduate Specialty Counselling qualification in Solution Focused Therapy from the University of Milwaukee.

Margaret is a Registered Clinical Member of the Psychotherapy & Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and an Accredited PACFA Supervisor.
